Pond Table

The Pond Table is a piece inspired by the traces of water that linger on the ground after a rain. Puddles that form on man-made roads create unintended yet beautifully organic shapes. These shapes often go unnoticed until they are filled with rainwater, revealing their true forms. On a day when the small puddles on a freshly washed road seemed particularly beautiful, I was inspired to bring these forms—shaped by chance and nature—into our living spaces.
