Shelf No.

Shelf No. is a utilitarian wall-mounted shelf designed in a minimal shape. This work is the outcome of my research on forms that create poetic atmosphere with calm, clean lines. The size of the shelf is based on our everyday needs. Shelf No. is available in teak and red-oak versions. A special edition, the black Ottchil edition, was a collaboration with Korean craftsman Kang Hee Jung. Ottchil refers to traditional Korean lacquer which has been used as a surface treatment method for millennia. It is known for the beauty of its inherent luster and its resistance to contamination.
